MILO Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 my shee is set up for summer riding, and i'm planning on heading out this weekend with the temps in the 30's or so, at pretty much the same elevation. would putting the airbox lid back on be sufficient rather than rejetting? i know that i jumped from like around 300's to 360's when i removed the lid. i'm assuming replacing it will have the same effect as increasing jet size. i'd rather end up running rich than too lean. fun_on_the_sand Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 If that putting back the lid is not enough try adding the snorkel (if you still have it), in case you don't have the snorkel try to find a way to restrict the air flow on the lid opening, for exemple some duct tape on the outside corners. That sounds pretty easy to adjust Quote
banshdog Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 What elevation are you riding at? just curious, 360 mains sound big. Quote
