race-a-holic Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Do any of you use RDZ pipes?I have RDZ pipes, alcohol carbs.,and RDZ level 2 porting. The porting helped alot.LT500's use to spank my Banshee, but that stopped when I got it ported. Still trying to get the jetting right, just put on the pipes and carbs. What size jets do you use and do you like the pipes? What spark plugs do you use,and how much do you gap them?I feel Rob has done a good job on my bike.Let me know what you think. How do RDZ Banshee's compare to other ported Banshees? Ducman Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Those are tough questions. Not many HQ'ers run RDZ pipes, porting, or alchohol. I don't think anyone could answer you jetting questions better than RDZ. Quote
richybanshee Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 (edited) All I can say is that RDZ pipes look very similar to Shearer pipes, Vito's FatBastards, Eddie Sanders pipes (ESR)... so some one is making the same pipe with different stamping. I pikedup this from the RDZ website: Edited March 8, 2005 by richybanshee Quote
rocketboy Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 (edited) that dyno looks fishy to me ,cpi rev far and high and shouldnt be doing whats shown in the graph.the most innacurrate dynos come directly from the product manufacturers dynometer. seems strange to run booze on a mild port :blink:and id be willing to bet that dyno is on a serious stroker crank too. I pikedup this from the RDZ website: 335688 That dyno sure shows me I would stay with CPI .At 6500 rpm CPI has almost 20 more HP .There is more to being fast than just having more power at 10000 rpm . CPI s would whoop that pipes ass in a drag race! Quote

fastbanshee4u Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Nobody I know drag races at 6500 RPM 338980 Oh I get it your banshee goes from 0 to 10,000 rpm with nothing in the mid rpms.If your getting traction you will need power at all rpm s. And yes I raced for 2 years here in PA, on 300 feet dirt track. So maybe you should tell Trinity to stop building cheetas, because there power valves arent needed .You only need a 10.000 rpm motor.
