I don't know much about it just from what I see, the Sale guy didn't know to much either about... Well here is what i see, Didi i get a good deal?? 2000 banshee: Moose boost drum, Kehlin Carbs, Pro Design Cool head, FMF Golds Series and PCII, was told it was Bored over .60 with Wiseco Pistons and K/N Pod filters with no air box, Boeyesen Power Reeds, and Hole shots with ITP's... I got this 3 Grand.... Its a little to late now but did I get Taken, KBB said it was 3500... Also What should I look for on the bike to see if anything is wrong or will need to be changed.. Sorry for the long post but thanks and I have thick skin so for you Flamers out there go ahead... I am grown it won't phase me I understand this is all you got to feel macho Quote

stclark816 Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 You just call me a flamer?? J/K man.. Welcome to the site. People make mistakes. Hell if ya havent ever been around a banshee or anything, how would you know if it had a cam or not? We were all newbies to banshees at one point in time. I think you got an OK deal. No shame. The only bad thing about banshees is... Once you starting modding them, you cant seem to stop. Be ready to have ur credit card limit raised. Make sure you change the oil frequently, keep a clean air filters, and do everything else you can think of to maintain it. If you take care of the banshee, it will take care of you. Youll hear people talkin about how banshees are so unreliable, yada yada yada. This is untrue. I would say 97% of all banshee problems are caused by the owners not taking care of them properly. Take the extra time and take good care of it. And itll never let you down. Quote

Feel free to ask any questions about any thing. Like stclark said, at one time or another we were all at the same point in our knowledge. Some of us are still there in fact. Quote
chris642 Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 i dont think you will get flamed much, it obvious you are not an idiot like some people. it sounds like that shee has alot of miles on it, .60 over on a 2000. but no worries, you still have a long time on that as long as you keep that bitch well maitained and in tune. make sure the airfilters are clean and your jetting is on and you should be good!
