I pulled her apart yesterday and found a little clip that sits just inside the nut that you screw into the carb. There are some notches on the choke stem, and i can see that the little clip is worn out. anybody had any luck replacing the clip? What did you use? Can you buy just the choke assembly by itself? thanks Quote
fixitrod Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I've fixed two chokes. One I bent the clip to where it would hold the choke out better. Worked okay. The second time I took a dremel tool and made the groove (that the clip sits in) more defined on the choke handle. That worked much better. Quote
