I know i used to buy all my top end kits from Recreation Unlimited cause they where the cheapest and their kits included the wrist pin bearings, but now i don't see em in the mag or cant find them online. Did they go out of business and if so where is the best place to get a complete top end kit? I am thinking about putting together a 4mm stroker longrod motor probably need 65mm pistons. thanks Quote
tats4life Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 make sure your order the "795 series" there made for long rod and stroker cranks, unless you run a spacer plate than you can run pro-lites. I can get pistons at a preatty good price..let me know exactly what you want. Quote

I am just trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to get a crank and a piston kit or get the whole kit from this guy for around $600. That is for everything crank pistons pin bearings gaskets. Only bad thing is the crank isnt welded , but i think i can have that done for around $45 I know Recreation Unlimited used to have the whole kit for 139.95 maybe 149.95 there at the last shipped and that was the cheapest i had found anywhere.
