follow the wires down from the handlebar there is a connector under the tank,if you added pipes maybe somehow it came disconnected..

The clymers manual has the wiring diagrams and procedures for testing!.

I have had the same problem on all of my Banshee's. It has always been that I haven't correctly assembled the headlight switch.

Good Luck!

well i didn't paint or powdercoat my frame, so the ground shouldn't be an issue....i didn't take apart the light switch so that shouldn't be an issue....and i believe the only wire harness clips i unhooked were the torrs ones when i took those off...the voltage regulater is new and when it went out my headlights worked and my taillight didn't...so i'm still stumped

Have you checked the bulbs in the headlights? If the voltage reg went out there is a chance that it could have blown the bulbs.

new bulbs after the new voltage regulater, like i said the only thing i did was tear down the plastic, exhaust, front susp, and remove the torrs and the put it back together, the voltage regulator and headlights were changed before the tear down and worked when i parked it

i had the same problem my head lights worked when i took them off and wouldnt when i put them back on some how my lights them selfs went bad dont know how must have droped them or some thing. id use a volt meeter to check for power from the harness and just work your way back if you dont have one you can get one at wal-mart cheep that will work or a pick light wil work to.
