05bansh
So I took my shee to the dunes yesterday. It was my first time riding on my new CPI's, they kicked ass! But.... Since they stick out a bit from the frame, while I was riding the inside of my riding pants rubbed on the pipes and melted part of my pants on the pipes Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the melted shit off of my pipes? DUNEDEMON
#00 Steel Wool and some glass cleaner will take it right off and not harm the chrome - DO NOT use a Scotchbrite pad! It will scratch the chrome.

RNBRAD
Also dip the steel wool in a little mothers polish, this helps remove burnt stuff even better.
05bansh
Well I didnt use any mothers polish yet. Just the steel wool and windex. It took most of it off, but some spots wont come off. Any other suggestions?
