Cotton eyed Joe Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 http://www.razorbackatv.com/Shocks.htm Anyone here ever use the Competiton model or the coil over model Marvin Shaws? I want to use the Competition model on The Suicide Machine (thanks Wallrat, but isn't that the name of a band??) but I don't know shit about them, and haven't found shit on them, except what you see in that link. Any links or input are appreciated. I do know I'll have to buy a nitrogen refilling kit, and pick up a bottle of nitrogen to refill them if I ever need to raise the psi or if I rebuild. I have also seen some people running 2 rears on a +12 extended swingarm of a drag bike. They said in the article that it was set up that way to give better control over jounce and rebound due to lower internal pressure than to have one of them pumped up to the nuts. Quote
racer Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 check out planet sand on this one. a TON of guys over there are running them. maybe you should try a strut though before you spend money on shocks. Quote
Big Blue Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 probably find someone that deals them on plantetsand also and may get a better deal. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Stan, Kara and the crew at Razorback are nice folks, but why not go to the source and cut out the middle man? http://www.marvinshawshocks.com or (928) 427-3551 Good luck! Quote

badcompany Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 Yea, Tim is a great guy to deal with. I run a marvin shaw on the back and i love it, light, and just a little travel so its not such a rough ride. I run marvin shaw solid struts on the front too. Quote
