SICK BOY Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 How does synthetic oil work with the clutch?Any slipping? Quote
Justintoxicated Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 I ONLY use 2-stroke oil made for a wet clutch. Anything else you should be chaning after EVERY ride. But hey it's your bottem end.... Quote
RNBRAD Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 How does synthetic oil work with the clutch?Any slipping? 307251[/snapback] I've never had the slightest hint of slippage. I only use sythetic in my shee as well as my cbr929. Both get plenty of drag time and never a hint of any problems. Just stay away from any moly additives in a any type of oil. It wll definitely cause slippage problems. Quote
Wallrat Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Alot of guys on here are running 10w-30 castrol GTX. I just swapped over to it after this last rebuild since I change the oil every other ride anyway. Alot easier at $2/qt. Quote
