PCshee Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Hey guys. Got a shee has Pro Circuit pipes on it, k&n airfilter, and pro designs proflow kit. My jetting right now is 240main and thats all ive had to do. Im going to be boring it out .20 over this winter and am wondering what i should jet out to? Is there a certain rule for all this or just trial/error. Let me know what u guys think. Any help will be great. Thanks Quote
stclark816 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Trial and error.. 240 seems a little low for pipes and filter and stuff. Check ur plugs, make sure you arent burnin anything up. Quote
PCshee Posted January 3, 2005 Author Report Posted January 3, 2005 na jetting is perfect right now. Quote
05bansh Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 240? That sounds like it would be way too lean with pipes and pro design. I was running 250's last week and all I have done is my airbox removed and k&n pods. Quote
PCshee Posted January 3, 2005 Author Report Posted January 3, 2005 U guys can come over and look at my plugs then. Im not running lean. All i want is for some input on what kind of jetting is needed when i bore it .20 over. Im running 240s right now what should i go up to when i bore it .20 Thanks Quote
stclark816 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Chill out, just sounded a little lean, didnt want you to blow up anything. We are here to help. Quote
Banchetta Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Boring it out won't change your jetting. Did you check your plugs after a wide open throttle run in 6th gear? If your at sea level, then you will be lean. You should be around 270 at sea level. especially w/ winter temps...YOu also might want to try a richer pilot. I know when I had my PC pipes, that my shee wouldn't start for shit w/ stock pilots. Anyways, good luck Quote
PCshee Posted January 3, 2005 Author Report Posted January 3, 2005 Alright thanks for your guys help Quote
