05bansh Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 Removing the airbox and running pods make it TONS easier to work on as of re-jetting. Way more room to work with. Quote
fixitrod Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 It does make it easier, but it sucks ass in water. Quote

I got new carbs so they would stop sticking when they got wet. Now if they get to wet the water will be a problem within the intake. I guess I will see how it works. Quote
05bansh Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 If you are going to be doing any riding where they are prone to get wet, I would leave the airbox on. Quote

Flyin_Shee Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 pods are cheaper and much easier to work with though. I hate the stock air box especially since I went up to the dual 34's. I ordered these yesterday. cheap pod filters link 300275[/snapback] Those are what I'm running on my Banshee right now, my PWK30's wouldn't fit with the stock airbox. I took those filters off of my KZ400 streetbike that isn't being used for the winter...fits perfectly. Quote
