those numbers are inches. they are measured from the outside edge of the rim to the center plate of the rim. 4\1 rims for example. If you'd take a tape measure, the inside of the rim(part mounted facing the brake rotor) you would get 4 inches from the edge of the rim to the center mountin plate. Take your tape measure to the other side(outside) of the rim, and you should get one inch from the edge of the rim to the center mounting plate.

+3 out and +2 forward

I think your thinkin' A-arms. :shrugani:

4+1's with a flush valvestem turned around :D That should get you pretty wide.

actually, no offense, but i just talked to douglas about this yesterday and a 1-4 is what you want for wider. a 4-1 will be narrower than using stock wheels. this is what she told me, so if i'm wrong, that tech is wrong. It wouldn't be the first time for a tech to be wrong, but that's what i was told.

I researched it because with my +2 arms, I can be pretty wide in the woods and want a wheel that will narrow me up a tad more if the course is a tight one.

hope that helps. if you have any doubt, do what I did, contact the mfg. and let them tell you what you need, that way you can eliminate getting the wrong wheels.

Yes thats correct. 1-4 is as wide as they come, 3-2 is wider than 4-1 but narrower than 1-4, and 4-1 would make your quad the narrow'est.

not sure if there's a 2-3 offset but there probably is.

Just contact ITP directly to see if they make the Baja wheel with that offset, if they do, they'll either sell it to you or direct you where to go. If they don't, they'll eliminate you searching all over hell for it, and they may do it as a custom deal.

That's what I'd do.

Good luck.
