Most complete with the best finish. I bought another set from someone else also though not quite as happy with that set. He has everything for the banshee except the upper a-arms bolts. Otherwise you can get everything else. The kits are pretty complete though they lack a few things but not much. As for the allen head bolts, love them, and they look great. Here's a LINK. Quote
01bansheefox Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 I bought a 372 off ebay for $58+shipping. 470 peice. Think this is the biggest. And they say polish but its not chrome when you get it. Its just the polish metal. Kinda disapointed. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43972 Quote
RNBRAD Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 Yea the " show polished" kits cost more and those are not the ones selling on ebay. If that's what you want then you need to call him and order a show polished set. Those are just like chrome. Quote
01bansheefox Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 Ya thats what I thought I was getting when it said Polished bolt set, i keep thinking polish=chrome in my head, but when i got them i was disapointed, guess its 2 late now Quote

When I polish my bolts they don't take long at all unless I machine the ridges off the edge of some bolts. Quote

RNBRAD Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 i am just worried about stripping out an allen key bolt 296137[/snapback] Yea i've never stripped one out, not even close. They are very strong and the SS kit is superior to any of the stock nuts and bolts on the shee. Polishing them is easy but will take more time if you want to remove any of the dimpling around the head of the bolt. I use around a 360 grit sanding disk on my die grinder and zip the dimples smooth prior to polishing. Quote
