chopperfuker Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 thought it would be kinda cool to have, but I am really considering putting the thumb back on. Also, is a twist a good thing to have in the sand? Quote
oldschool98 Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 i always prefered the thumb throttle on a 2 stroke quad because its harder for you to add gas when you get pulled back on a fast take off. in other words easier to controll under hard take offs and were is there sand by you i noticed in your avitar that you are in sandusky. i live in vermillion we have sand but the cops dont like it when we ride ion the public beaches hahahaha oh well get back to me maybe we can ride together somtime Quote
chopperfuker Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 Well I used to ride alot in bellevue, small little place, but it is really cool tho. I am considering just setting up the shee for sand.. Silver lake.. I also have a good friend that rides glamis every year. I really dont like the twist much, for the reason you said Quote
nater006 Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 I switch actually.. think thats nice about the twist is that you can do it all night long! well, seriously, i find it easier to go for longer days of riding without any fatigue. though, the thumb setup is great too. i'm more partial to it at this point but both are nice. really preference, quite frankly -- and some (like me) find it easier to ride for longer periods with one or the other. chopperfuker Posted December 18, 2004 Author Report Posted December 18, 2004 I have the motion-pro. If I were to change back, could I just put the thumb mount back on and use the existing cable? I also had to change the carb caps too. I really dont want to go back to the tors system Quote
