leadsled Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 i have a 2000 banshee that when i bought it, it would start on the first kick every time now its not wanting to start it takes alot of kicks to get it going, the motor trys to start but will idle for a few seconds and cut off does this 5-6 times after a bunch of kicks without anything, when it trys to start it seems like its haveing a had time for it to get fuel, usally when it starts it idles for a second then the motor picks up a few rpms until i turn the choke off, anyone know whats up with it? and i also noticed that on the left side silencer theres more oil around the opening then on the right side like maybe the carbs arent in tune with each other or is this typical banshee stuff and nothing to worry about?any advice would help thanks Quote
Banchetta Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Don't take the choke off.....If it seems like it hesitates before powerband, then maybe your ready for a larger pilot..it'll help w/ cold starts better, but might take away throttle response if your already perfect..trial and error.
