I'd stay away from it. I havent had any personal experience but from what i understand it has a flat timing curve, and the lack of flywheel hurts a 350 motor because it needs the torque. On bigger motors the biggest complaint ive heard is its hard to start. Hope this helps...

i think the pvl is awesome big increase in throttle response, very adjustable compared to stock igntions, i ran on a +4mm on alky and it started fine.

i paid 300 for mine new i think u can get one for around 475 or so

I have ran them in the past and don't really care for them....I prefer a stock stator and lightend flywheel with a dyna programmable ignition. You can setup them up to put out way better performance than a pvl and without starting problems associated with a set timing....the dyna progressively adjusts timing according to rpm.

You guys saved me from making a $500 fu@k up.... I have a Dyna ignition now, but I have been having problems with it... I can only get the stock curve to work right... I might add I have a Ricky Stator, stator and adjustable timimg plate... I was also thinking about switching to a Vortex adjustable ignition.....

i think i read this right...your running an adjustable timing plate with your dyna, and your stock curve is the only one that works correctly. If your using a timing plate it has to be set at zero, and than you use the dyna curves to add timing.
