Show us the auction for it...that really sucks! Did you pick it up in person? It all depends on the details of your deal on whether or not you can really complain. If you picked it up from him in person you might not have a complaint....but if it was shipped to you then that's a whole nother ball game. Hope this ends up in your favor!

Well, it looks like you already filed the only "real" complaint you could. Auction said all sales final, no warranty...in other words what you see is what you get. I seriously doubt you'd be able to get anywhere worthwhile if you reported it to ebay....he never said it was running and did say it needed some work. For 2,000 you didn't get burned too bad. Just get you a new top end and go through the bottom end and you'll have a good machine. I'd be glad it showed up considering the guy only had 2 feedback when you bought it

He claims it ran in his description and all it needed was 1 O-ring.

I asked him multiple times about rust, welds etc to anything on the bike

He replied it was in good condition just needed a good clean job.

 

I get the bike and it has its own holes to hold the pipes that have bent brackets with like 8'' long bolts and 20 washers. No bolts on fenders, tank, rear pipes. Its all zip ties. Has rust in the front of frame and pipes. Drilled holes in frame to tie the bike down because he claims it has SOOOOOOO much power it rides wheelies through 5th gear. And tops out at 113mph. The right footpeg is broken off and they tried welding it to the frame like a 3 year old did it. When i pulled the head off everything had Home-Made gaskets with some silicon shit and was all over the engine and inside. Also said it had a custom swing-arm and axel which was stock with more surface rust. Just a GOD DAMN POS!! and im still young so it took me awhile to save up sense i already live on my own and pay all my bills. I just wish I traded with a truthfull person because I cant stand living without a banshee, So if anyone knows a good deal on a bike please let me know. And someone who will not rip me off.

Hmm true it doesnt say it ran well on the phone he did but there is no proof of that. The day before he shipped it off he said he rode it around the street to make sure everything worked fine.

 

Ive already taken it to a shop to have it looked at, and my Total bill I think is around $1600. And also thats on the cylinders it has you can not bore them out anymore they are paper thin. It needs a new crank and whole top end along with head.

those cyliners are pretty popular sell them on ebay youll prob make enough to buy banshee cylinders and a crank and have some money left over sound like a bad deal man got to be carefull

i just picked up a banshee for a guy at work that knew nothing about banshee's for 450 bucks yes not a misprint and its titled, he tore it apart to FIX it (needed nothing) and didnt wanna put it back together lol

Sounds like the deal I got on mine....I picked my banshee up for 500, all it needed was new carb tops, the old ones were stripped out and wouldn't seal. The previous owner took it to the shop and they told him it would be like 2,000 to fix,(they said he needed a new top end, etc. but it didn't) so he sold it to me for 500 700 bucks total spent for a running banshee. Doesn't get much better!!
