I just seen a graydon 2-1 intake on Ebay. Does anyone know how it compares to a Trinity? It looks like it would flow the air smoother but does the added intake volume slow the throttle response? I am playing with ideas for makeing my own 2-1 intake and just wanted some input.

You are probably not going to get any responses from anyone who has actually ran both intakes. I have never ridden a Trinity 2into1, but I do have the Graydon and have been very pleased with it, if the price is right, buy it.....Good luck.

I had no problems with mine...good low-mid power, worked great with Trinity IV's. B) Haven't ever had a 2:1 system other than this one, so I can't compare it. If you're handy with a welder, the Graydon setup really doesn't look like it'd be much of a problem to build a copy of. I should have kept that setup & threw my stockers on there before I traded it. :shootself:

Here's a few pics, only ones I got. :shrugani:

The Trinity 2-1 system can be run with stock air box. They will sell you an adaptor that connects front of air box to the single carb. With Graydon system you must run without stock air box or else figure out some special way to mount air box and coolant overflow.

The Trinity carb to air box adaptor is a real POS. It did not fit well and will result in very difficult future carb and air box removal. I like the single 35mm performance.

For applications where air box is not to be used either Trinity or Graydon will work fine.

If you want to keep stock air box then I think twin 28's are better way to go.
