OKsoccer24 Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 X-mas is coming and I want four wheeler parts. I have cpi in-frames, k&n proflow, v-force, pro-design cool head with 20cc domes, and super-stocker pistons. I'm making 57 hp. I'm pretty sure I should up grade to a bigger carb, but what size? I'm guessing 28mm, but what do you all think? Quote
decon Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 (edited) if you dont have any porting done keep the stockers. or you could buy a C.V. single 35mm carb setup from trinity, gives u more bottom end with a fair top, i hear that setup is real good. its makes it real easier to jet, and also save fuel. http://www.trinityracing.com/products/yama...cvmanifold.html Edited November 20, 2004 by dEcon Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 I would sugest the trinity cv intake with a 35mm carb. the power increase is awesome throughout the rpm range. Plus it's way more dependable and easy to tune, looks great too. your riding with your buddies you'll never be the one with carb troubles, unlike banshees with twins. I'll never switch back. Quote
OKsoccer24 Posted November 20, 2004 Author Report Posted November 20, 2004 Do you all suggest clamp-ons? I ride at the dunes everynow and then, also ride in dust sometimes, but never water. Quote
Ducman Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 K&N clamp ons with outerweares work very well in the sand, stay pretty clean where as the sand sticks to oiled foam pod filters real bad, but I would highly recommend UNI pod filters for riding in dusty conditions if you switch to pods. UNI pods are only $10 each anyway. For extremely muddy conditions or deep water it is best to keep the air box. The airbox also makes for less filter maintenance. Quote
