Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 i have a 00 banshee with dune porting ,advanced timing,coolhead(racegas),v-force reeds,heavy clutch kit all the goodies. im am putting cpi's on it.i have no clue where to start on the jetting. im still using stock carbs with pod K&Ns i mainly ride at glamis let me know guys main jet size pilot neddle thanks Quote

NugShee Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Leave needle in center position, 27.5 Pilots, 340 Mains. You may even need to go down to 330 or 320 Main. I would think 27.5 Pilots would be about right but there is a possibility you will have to go up to 30's. Air screws need to be 2 turns out and make sure they are in sync. Do a plug chop and let us know how it turned out. CPI's kick ass, you will be very happy Quote

sredish Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 that dune port could be a big variable. With that porting, it could be a 330 or a 360. I'd throw a 340 or 350 in and run a plug check. Quote
