FIRST BANSHEE Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 I don't know what oil to use. i've heard it wants to seperate in the cold,it's hard to keep mixed. Quote
Ducman Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 About all I can add is Castor 929 seperates from the fuel at freezing temps so don't pick that oil. As for starting, maybe try some starting fluid? Dont spray it on the filter though. Quote
enFORCER Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 (edited) I to switched to alky a few months ago... I'm running Klotz Super Techniplate. Its 20% caster oil and 80% synthetic.. I have been running it for about 3 mounths now with no problems.. But I don't no if its any good in real cold temps.. I was told that alcohol dosen't work that well in cold weather..
