I got rid of the stock nerf and the black plastic fender piece a long time ago and I'm looking at some different options and possibly getting rid of my DG nerfs.

I'm gonna buy some IMS Kick-up Pegs, and I kinda like the look of the IMS Nerf deals. However, I don't have that stock plastic piece that they're bolted to in every "retail" picture I've seen of them. Are they necessary or can they be bolted on some other way. Does anyone have any pics of them?

Can you cut the ear off of them and just bolt them to the pegs on one side and the frame on the other side?

Thanks.

The nerfs I posted above aren't the same as demon's, but it seems demon's are what I need instead. I like that and I'm really sick of the look of my DG nerfs.

I see...... I need the IMS Nerfs not Heel Guards.

I'm sure they will work fine, the plastic is probably just for stability. They wouldn't be supported by the plastic, it just wouldn't be safe. Very nice nerfs though, i think I might have to get some. How much?
