I just got a set of FMF SST's and I've never had any aftermarket exhaust on my banshee. Here's the problem, when I went to put the silencer on there is no way to put the exhaust clamp onto the head pipe. The way the silencer mounts to the pipe is right next to the front of the airbox and a piece of metal in the frame obstructs me from being able to tighten the clamp. I was wondering if anyone else has mounted SST's and whether you can even use the OEM clamps or not. Also, the mounting tab on the silencer is missing the rubber gromet. Do you need this? Any help is appreciated.

Have not mounted the sst but I know the stock clamps don't fit fmf real well. The rubber gromit on the back is to cut down on engine vibration to the frame. Not needed but I would use one, or at least go to the hardware store and use a couple rubber washers on both sides.
