Headed out late tonigt. Will be camped in wash 1. White F250 crew with a beat down 24' komfort tt. Other stuff in our camp: white F150 26' alfa grey Chevy crew & 22' tahoe 36' motorhome with a 25' white enclosed. Wish I had posted something earlier to arrange a boardmanville run or something. Yamahammer Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 did we ever start a thread for who made it or did i miss it.. went looking for dune demon and wall rat on fri night but did not find there camp where you guys on the left or right of gecko.. some one came through camp looking for me but my friends did not remoember the name and they never came back.. did meet up with the blocker.. some how some way we always end up finding eack other outr there.. had a great trip ecept for the bent upper a arm Quote

From the washes take sand highway towards gecko, as soon as you can see sweet maries in the distance turn left and look about 200 yards in front of you...that's us. On normal weekends we're usually the only group even in the dunes. T-day there were probably 6 or 7 other groups in the dunes within view. One camp out of 7 is alot easier than trying to find one camp among thousands in the washes. Quote

Yamahammer Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 sounds good we will be in the same spot or general area back of wash 4 for new years leaving thursday night again coming home mon..look for the same beat up dually mine and the blk chevy and toy hauler everyone else will be up later on fri i probably drove by you guys i went down to about pad 4 and did not see you guys cam back but i say one group off in that area preaty big did not even look ... next time i will and during the day would have helped. everyone else was drunk and did not want to ride so i went on a little slow ride to see if i could find you guys..are you guys going for new years Quote
Wallrat Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 We're way before any of the pads and ya I have a hard time finding our camp at night...small chance that anybody else could. New Years doesn't look good for us right now but that may change. Possibly gonna be there on xmas though. Quote

Don't know if you guys are into that kind of stuff but, you guys are welcome to come along with me, check out Go Ventures for more info.
