RNBRAD Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Or Lowe's. I've noticed they don't carry the higher wattage bulbs such as the 75 watt. They do carry 50's. Quote
SDD Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 What bulbs are they? MR16 or MR11? You might want to look for some Osram "true aim" bulbs. They are more expensive but they are way better than your average bulbs. PM Justintoxiced about these bulbs. He can tell you how much of a difference they make. Quote
dnhyoung Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 (edited) Any one know where to get them? I had one blow out and I noticed that it is a phillips.. Is there somewhere online to get them? You should be able to get them at any lighting store, or home help center such a lowe's, or homo depot(not a typo). They are an MR16 type. You will just want to watch the wattage and also the beam pattern. They range from Pencil beam to a wide flood and usually the beam pattern is in degrees of pattern spread. So a 15' beam would be considered a VNFL or a Very Narrow Flood lamp. They should be available in sylvania, Phillips, and a slew of other manufacturers, but ya get what ya pay for. here's a link to more info about the mr-16 lamps sylvania Edited October 29, 2004 by dnhyoung Quote
