PCing the frame

so far i can think of:

 

plastic support mounts

where the front motor mounts go through the frame

mounts for the stock heel gaurds

possibly the factory headlight mounts (yes or no)

weld in random holes that i cant figure out where anything goes

 

anything else that you all can think of?

 

 

and also what to gusset?

 

footpeg mounts and steering loop is all that i can think of currently

I wouldn't cut anything motor mount related.

 

But you can get rid of the stock pipe tabs at the bottom, the air box mounts and tabs, and the 2 bulges where your stock silencers used to mount.

 

If you were going to gusset anything I'd say gusset the steering loop.

Look at pics IMG_0001.JPG through IMG_0026.JPG. There are some other pics of my buddy's EX & my EX on there as well...but should help ya out & give you some ideas. Gussetting around the footpegs wouldn't be a bad idea, but I didn't bother, can later if I have to.

ive done one side. i didnt want it to rust, so i painted the exposed metal gloss black, and its sick. i love it. that will most likely be my color choice. that or like the color on DD's bikes. that grey is really cool. it doesnt look like smooth as in car smooth. in the right light you can tell where the grinder has been. but unless you are really looking for it i dont think you will notice it. im excited.

ok guys its goin on friday some gloss black PC. they quoted me 85 for the frame and 35 for the swinger. im off to strip the Mutha fucka

yeah i marked that for removal tomorrow. i need to add a gusset to the steering stop also. its bent before, so ill need to do some reinforcing.

You outa get the hubs pc'd while you got everything tore down... little things like that trick the bike out nicely.
