Just wondered if anyone could give me a couple measurements.

1- The diameter of the drive clutch or primary clutch where the belt is on the clutch at idle.

1B- The diameter of the drive clutch at it's highest speed.

2- The diameter of the driven clutch where the belt is at idle.

2B- The diameter of the driven clutch at highest speed.

Sorry Holyman,

My damn tape measure just keeps getting caught when I rev the motor ! :o

Are you replacing a belt, or going "monster garage" on something?

Brother in law got a new MIG welder so it's MONSTER GARAGE

BennBB is helping me figure out some final speed ratios.

I've got two 80's ish Yamy 440 Exciters sitting behind my garage.

They're my brothers, both need a top end I believe but you could make

one decent sled out of both or have TWO crappier ones! orrrrr...

use the drive & motor for ?????

$400.00 clams for both.

I don't want the whole sled. I found one that someone threw away and I can get the drive train. What I need is One engine and the primary clutch.

Are they electric start?

Will he sell just one engine, drive clutch and electronics?

Can you send me pics?

Where do you live exactly?

My email is... [email protected]

All of these measurements are specific to the CVT being used on the specific model. Mixing and matching CVT's does not work. As a word of warning, there are very few people in the world that actually know what they are doing when they are setting up and tuning a CVT. Most of the time all anyone ever does is lower performance and possibly hurt themselves as they make the engage speed lower than idle.
