efward Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 Has anyone had experience buying a quad from out of state and registering it in California? Any issues or problems that jumped out at you? I've bought a motorcycle from out of state and CA DMV has some crazy regualtions about purchasing vehicles with less that 7500 miles. Is there anything similar with quads? thanks Quote

They wait over 6 months before registering and since they have no odometer they are OK. They may need to certify that the bike was not imported into Calif until over 6 months from purchase. They were working temporarily out of state. Quote
