SHAFT Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 This is probably an easy question for someone with a little more banshee exp. than me. On the factory silencers i removed the three screws at the rear of the muffler and pulled out what i guess is called the spark arrestor. This leaves a large hollow hole, and alters the sound just a little bit. My question is will running my banshee(all stock) like this in any conditions hurt performance, or the motor in any way. Will I have jetting problems as a result of the added flow. Anyone who has tried this or knows the answer feel free to post up. thanks. Quote
sredish Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 I don't know about hurting performance, but I doubt you'll gain anything since the power is made in the header/belly by the sonic waves that flow with the cylinder. Make sense? Quote
