snazman Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 hey guys i just put on an adj. timing plate and i put it all back together and there is an adjustable pick up that is trigred by a magnet on the flywheel. Does anyone know how many thousands it is spoused to be away from the magnet on the flywhee.??? I saw a topic on it a while ago but i couldent find it using the search tool. Thanx for any help. Quote

There has to be some tolerance. If you wanted, you could use 4-5 sheets of paper as a guage. If I remember right a piece of paper is around .003-.004 thick. Quote
