theeechozen1 Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 I need a starting point on jetting this beeeeotch. Trinity stage 4 manifold, 38mm PWK, open Filter (Foam) 4500' elevation t-5's, carbon reeds on stock cages weather: 50-85 degrees...reno, NV Its got a 170 main in it and I am not sure if that is a good place to start or not. Thanks Quote
sredish Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 being that you have a 38mm, that throws me off a little. More air = more fuel, but being a bigger carb, you won't have as much velocity so the fuel might be pretty close. if you had a 35, I'd say maybe a 180, so you might bump it up to a 180 or 185 and see what you got. my personal gut feeling is 170 is gonna be a little lean, but it's really kind of a guessing game anyway. i'd start the needle in the 4th clip and see how it works. pilot might be good around 50. theeechozen1 Posted September 23, 2004 Author Report Posted September 23, 2004 Thats about where Jimmy @ Trinity told me to start at, but I know that you and Fro and a few others are pretty good with these, Thanks for the help, I'll let cha know how I like it. If it doesn't rev out to my liking I might have to strap on a set of Rockets! Quote
