I got my Shee back yesterday when I picked it up after geting FMF's TORS removal, and K&N's it ran fine. I traveled about 100 miles with it in the back of my truck in the rain. When I got home, it would not start. All the stuff like gas on, kill switch in run, key on and choked. I seems like it's not geting spark. and the plugs are wet so I assume it's geting fuel.

Tried a new set of plugs and removed the K&N's and still a no go

And sugestions?

I want to ride this weekend :(

I had my wife look and she said no spark. I will look for a plug tester on the way home today, I have seen them, they hookup inline with the plug wire and the plug and have a light that's easy to see.

We'll go on the no spark idea for now unless somebody else has a better idea. Since you got a tors removal I would make sure that the TORS controller box is completely unhooked. It's a black box infront of the gas tank mounted on the frame, left side from driver seat. After that I would check all the other wiring to make sure its all good and tight, make sure no connections are rusty. As long as you have everything good and tight then check to make sure you have the key on and are in run on the selector. If it's not those and you still don't have spark you will need to get a clymers and a ohm meter and check the stator and the coil to see if they are functioning correctly. I would guess you still have some part of the TORS connected.

Check your coil wires. The red and black wires behind the right pipe. Mine have come off a couple times. Also, for my TORS removal (like that when I bought it) someone cut some wires, then twisted them together. It won't fire if those wires come apart...just something to look for. Firing probs suck!!!

Sorry it took so long to get back. Yes I got it going, after unpluging all the wires and reconnecting them. I guess sometinng got wet.

Thanks for all the help
