Noob Banshee Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Ok the 87 shee has the steel like caps sleves if i get bearings do i still need to buy new sleaves if i got bearings? or how does that work? Quote
J.J. Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Damn Noob, that was difficult to read man, whatchoo talkin 'bout Quote
Holyman Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 No need to buy new innards unless the old innards are all worn out. Re-use the caps and the sleeves. Quote
Noob Banshee Posted August 31, 2004 Author Report Posted August 31, 2004 Yeah the sleeves are tore up. So in the A-arms and J-arms i put the bearing in first then, the sleeves. But even though i got bearings i still have to use the sleeves right? Quote
ledofthezep Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 If I'm getting this all correct,...yes you'll want the sleaves to keep out dust & chit...to protect your bearings. Quote
Noob Banshee Posted August 31, 2004 Author Report Posted August 31, 2004 ok that was funny but, blow me lol Quote
Holyman Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Did you read the instructions with the full color step by step photos I sent you? Take the old plastic bushings and throw them away. Put the bearings in the Arms {as shown} and put the sleeve in the bearings, put the dust caps on, put the Arms in the frame, put the bolt in the Arm, put the nut on the end, do the same on the others.
