Toomey Banshee Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 Now its missing in the middle and not ideling without bliping the throttle. Needle adjustment after the V-Force? Different pilot? I have 160 mains in them now and its 80-90 degrees at sea level. When I put the V-Force in my 99, I didnt have to mess with the needle at all. Quote
Banchetta Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 The reeds will affect the pilot and needle circuit the most. You have to play around w/ them. If your shee seems to like the air screw .5 turn out from seated, then try a larger pilot, if the air screw likes to be 2.5 turns out from seated then try a smaller pilot...once you get the idle down, then try leaning out the needles one clip. What more can I add? Reeds will change things a little. Any hoo... Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted August 8, 2004 Author Report Posted August 8, 2004 Thanx. To lean out the needles, clip closer to the blunt end or closer to the pointy end. Thanx. Quote
