frocashmoney24 Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 you can buy that aluminum bracket, you can relocate the bottle up front between the aarms inside te frame which many people on here have done, easy, or you can get rid of the whole damn bottle and wires like alot of people do Quote
Holyman Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 Well you can't get cheaper than throwing it away, in fact you could probably put in on eBay and get a couple bucks for it. The second option is zip tying it behind the bumper. Zip ties are about as cheap as you can get. I don't recommend hacking up the stock airbox because you can sell that too and help fund your new clamp on's. Quote

fixitrod Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 anyone know a cheap way to relocate your water bottle when going to pods? I'm confused. Quote
racer Posted July 30, 2004 Author Report Posted July 30, 2004 pods are the little clamp on filters that go directly onto the carb mouths. the water bottle is the coolant overflow tank that is mounted on the factory airbox. you take the airbox off when running pods so i need some way to remove that stupid bottle that doesnt work really anyways. can i just run the overflow line out back by where the fuel overflows are, no bottle, just straight hose? fixitrod Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 LMAO, I was confused because you asked how to relocate it. Then you said you didn't ask how to relocate it. That's all. If you want to remove it you can. Just leave an small overflow hose hanging from the mouth of the radiator. I do want you to know the coolant bottle does work like that in a car. It will suck up coolant from the bottle when needed. I moved mine to the front and don't loose much if any coolant anymore. I use to loose it all the time when it was in the back. Most people don't have any problem at all with no coolant bottle. I did notice BenBB doesn't have one but he had to add coolant every once in a while at roostfest. Quote
