Hi, I'm going to cut my fenders and I wanted to know if anyone had a guide to do it. I dont want to f*ck up my fenders when I cut them. I searched the threads but all that came up was pics of bikes with the fenders already cut.

What type of saw/jig saw should I use? I have a hack saw I was going to use that. Well any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

A lot of people use a utility knife or sawzall, but I used a 4 1/2" grinder with a metal cutting wheel, because I have better control of the grinder. Then I cleaned the cuts up with a flat wood file, then with 120 grit sand paper. Lastly, I used a propane torch to lightly melt the cut so that all of the sanding marks disappeared. You will have to keep the torch moving to keep from melting the plastic too much. The perfect temperature is right when the plastic starts smoking.
