northshore03 Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 so i start the banshee the other day, and it idles fine and warms up, then i go to ride it down my street, but it has no power at all, im talking full throtle i was only going 5 mph max it sounds like its boging, but the motor doesnt die and everything shakes. what could be wrong? changed the plugs the slides move together. just has no power Quote
banshee04le Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 Will it rev up cleanly while it is sitting there idling, or does it not rev? If it doesn't rev up, but bogs when you try to, your emergency brake switch or wiring may be bad. On the handlebars (clutch side), there is a black jacketed wire that goes to your emergency brake switch. Trace that wire down to the first connector (down in front of the radiator I believe) and disconnect it and see if that helps. Quote
