ok so i have no idea wut the hell is wrong with my baby she doesnt seem to want to start worth of shit and it backfires like crazy when i kick it- the other day i finally got it running and it would idle fine but then if i got on it she would bogg reall bad then rev the bogg and so on can any one please help me possibly tell me wut to check i dont think it is electrical cuz it still has spark-sorry for such a long thread

no degree key but i intalled an adjustable timing plate but its still set to 0 and its got a brand new cdi on it um where could i have an air leak everything is new reeds are brand new too so i dont know wuts going on banghead shits all bad plugs are fine it fires but dies right away please help :flush: i think water might have gotten in somewhere cuz it was in the rain is that a posibility :shootself: or could i adjust the timing to like +4 maybe that would help? :unsure:

that stator was fine the when i checked it out after i took the plugs out they were burnt to shit but it ran fine one day then the next day it wouldnt run :cry:

you might check the wires going to your plug wires .. they are right there by the right side pipe up under the tank... my brother's banshee was backfiring and bogging real bad and we found that one female connecter was lose so it was arching and not getting spark right even thou we would pull the plug and have spark...we fixed the female end and runs like a champ now..

You have to go to your "My Controls" & submit an image for an avatar. ;)

Fire it up & spray some carb cleaner or WD40 around your intake boots & see if shee revs.

i agree with led's approach. sounds like a lean condition caused by an air leak. get some wd40, carb cleaner and spray away. hopefully you'll find something.

ok none of these approaches are working and im getting fed up with all this bull shit banghead i dont think it has nething to do with the stador or anything that has to do wit the ignition system becaus eit has a perdy blue spark consistantyl other than buying new intake boots idk wut else to do please help me guys :shootself:
