zzzz Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 Sorry to post this, cuz I'm sure it's been answered before. Anyways, my toomey t-5's are on their way. What should the jetting be? I also have k&N filter, lid on with 12 airbox vents. I ride at sea level. Thanks for the help. Quote
J..J. Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 Ballpark numbers: 300-320 Mains Stock needle in the middle position 27.5 pilots Air screw 1.5 turns out. It should run ok with these settings, just fine tune it further in the different throttle circuits. Read BenBB's Jetting FAQ to learn all you need to know... Quote
JKJK Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 i have a similar set up at sea leavel, mine runs best with a stock pilot,320 mains, clip in the middle,1+1/2 turns on the air screw.(dyno-jet needles) Quote
dirttrack25 Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 I have about the same setup but with a uni filter and i have 25 pilots 1 1/4 turn out on air screws not sure about needle position and 280 mains. It runs good as far as i know but i havnt had time to play with jetting any. Quote
2000bansheeryder Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I have the same pipes and Toomey suggest running 280's at sea level. I run 260's at 3000 about sea level and it runs really good. Quote
