a6079c Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 im putting a new ebc clutch kit in today, i dont have a manual nor have i ever done it before. are there any hidden problems that im going to run into? is there anything i should know before i start? i already soaked the new one. to install the plates and springs do i need to remove the basket? thanks for any help, andy c Quote
fixitrod Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 You don't need to remove the basket. When putting it back together make sure you line the arrow on the pressure plate to one of the arrows on the fingers of the basket. Also, if the clutches have any marks on the rotate and stagger them on tooth (on the basket) each. Some plates don't have marks and it won't matter. Quote
