im putting a new ebc clutch kit in today, i dont have a manual nor have i ever done it before. are there any hidden problems that im going to run into? is there anything i should know before i start? i already soaked the new one. to install the plates and springs do i need to remove the basket?

You don't need to remove the basket. When putting it back together make sure you line the arrow on the pressure plate to one of the arrows on the fingers of the basket. Also, if the clutches have any marks on the rotate and stagger them on tooth (on the basket) each. Some plates don't have marks and it won't matter.

thanks for the info, what about the rubber rings between the plates i did a search and read a few posts that say you dont need them with aftermarket clutches but if i put them in will it hurt anything?
