The best way I have found to make a grip imovable is to wrap the bars with a little cloth tape soak it with hairspray. Then jam the grip on as far as you can if it won't go on all the way use an air nozle to blow the grip up kind of like a baloon and jam it the rest of the way on. once the hiar spray dries the grip will never move no matter how ssoft the compound is. a little trick i picked up racing BMX.

yes that is the best way. i also learned it riding bmx. i was the master of wheelies in my town back in the day. but i could any serious tricks.

why not just skip the glue and saftey wire them on?... seems like the easiest and most effective solution .

I heard people do this before. But im not sure what it means or how it works?? Can you explain it?

saftey wire works great,always had problems with glue.and grips slipping off at the worst time.saftey wire,is really steal,or stainless wire wrapped around the grips and twisted tight.no way in hell there gonna come off. like this

thanx.on the safey wire bit again,you cant use it on nuts and bolts so they dont back off as well
