brock_fuzzy_69 Posted May 22, 2004 Report Share Posted May 22, 2004 i got myself a used head from NYUK and it came with 22 and 18 cc domes so i need to know a little bit about octane requirements so my shee has a modded timing plate, lightened flywheel, V force reeds trinity 2 into 1 intake right now i run a 34 mm PJ carb but plan to swap to a 38PWK later on i have been running 111 octane gas with no probs so i plan to stay in the 110 to 112 octane range if i can will i be able to keep that same fuel with the 18 cc domes? my elevation is about 700 ft i think central il 61523 if anybody knows of an easy way to find exact elevation Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would think the 110 octane would be plenty, I've got 20cc and am pushing 140#. My grandparents live by a cropdusting airport and are long time friends with the owner, so I may be able to get some AV gas for cheap.
