what is an outerwear and what dose it do

 

also when people say that they run with no air box does that mean there is no box at all and the filter is just out there

outerwear is like a piece of cloth that goes over the filter, and stops small and big stuff from gettin into the filter before it hits the filter, kinda like a filter over a filter, no airbox they jsut have it running off the carbs, most people who run in alot of mud n water run with the airbox, people in the sand run with none
