Stuff Posted May 17, 2004 Report Share Posted May 17, 2004 I have an observation.Everyone talks about the price of GAS, and then bashes Bush/Cheney etc......We buy OIL from the other countries and refine it here into gas, but oil is used make textiles like carpet, nylon, polyester, plastics, and on and on. The price of shirts, motor oil, the plastic that I machine in the shop, and carpet haven't skyrocketed have they? Not that I've really noticed. They all use oil to be produced. I think its just price fixing on the part of US Refineries. Very good point.
