Warrior350Man Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 I have a Blaster that I bought a vito bigbore cylinder that has been bored to 75.50mm and was told that I will need a larger carb and aftermarket pipe for it to run right. I believe this to be true... But can you tell me how it will run with stock carb and stock pipe on it. I know it probably wont run good..And also will it harm anything at all? Please let me know your opinion. Thankyou. Quote
SDD Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 It will run ok and will not damage anything if it's jetted properly. You will not get the maximum amount of power out of your setup if it's not working together. Quote
Screamin_Banshee Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 This is a simple question, most ppl on this forum can answer that one. Yes it will run on stock carb and pipe, but will be choked down. If you rode it like that for a while, then piped it and installed a bigger carb, it would be a night and day difference. Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 it very well could run like crap with the stock pipe on. when i got my banshe it had a 404 kit and stock pipes, it ran like poo. now i dont know how bug that bore is compared to stock, but the pipe will make a large difference, the carb wont be near as noticable as the pipe will Quote
Warrior350Man Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 Thanks for all the info people. The guy I bought this off of told me that I will have to also use the kawasaki jetski 1 ring piston that he is sending with the cylinder. He also said it would produce around 45hp with good carb and pipe. Is this possible? Quote
