Madbanshee01 Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Hows it going guys, I wanted to ask you guys two questions. 1. Do you have to rejet when you install in-line coolers? 2. I wanted to clean all the dirt inside of the in-line coolers so i left them in a bucket of soap with some degreaser and ajax. When i took them out, they where not shiny and chrome anymore. They turned like brown or u can still see some shine. What can i do?? Thankyou, Jose Quote

Thankyou, Jose When you put aluminum in any type or caustic solution, whether its dish soap, or degreaser, it will oxidize the surface of the aluminum. If its polished it will do it in a hurry!!!! When you wash anything billet its a good idea to either use highly diluted soap and rinse immediately after, or use something like Windex or an aluminum polish like Mothers. Quote
