boonman Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 You can get them from alot of shops. Model #9157 is listed on www.magicracing.com for FMF angle. WHich is what you should need with an FMF power core II. Now, if your exhaust exits straight out the back, (old school FMF) than you need the FMF straight, #9156. They are $65 each. Pricey, but it will save you a ticket. THey clamp on, and have had a tendency to fall off...... Quote
Hockey390 Posted May 3, 2004 Author Report Posted May 3, 2004 do the turbine core II give less performance then the old school powercore II's?? Because for $130 for both, I might as well buy some new turbine's.. Quote

spoin39 Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 If you have your stock silenccers, you can save yourself some money by modifying them to fit. I just cut an inch off mine and they bolt right up to toomey's. you have to cut the mounts off of the stinger part and I use hose clamps when I put mine on the toomey's. They work great and keep you legal for cheap$$$$$! Quote
Hockey390 Posted May 3, 2004 Author Report Posted May 3, 2004 but why would I switch back to stock? I think I will go with some turbines... I can get a good price if I just be patient i've always wondered.... Do you gain power with aftermarket silencers? I remember my friend buying just a silencer for his blaster and he was like "WOAH MAN ITS LIKE TWICE AS FAST!" but I just cant see power coming from a silencer change... at least that much.. So will I lose power switching from powercore II to a stock silencer? I LIKE THE BLING BLING THOUGH! Quote
