I bolted up the header pipes and went to slip on the silencers

and they wouldn't slip on  . I cleaned up the silencers

(female part of the slip on) with a dremel drum sander and they

still wouldn't slip on. I took off the clamp so I could see what the

hell the problem was and jammed them b@st@rds on there and

got the bolts in and they look and sound great!...but I don't have

a clamp on there and am not sure that I even need one. Any one

else have this problem <_< . Should I worry about the clamp?

If its not leakin you might not have to worry about it, but it would try to get something on there, even if you have to take some rubber strip and wrap it around there and some pipe clamps.
