westexgt Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I am debating over the +4 stroker crank and vito pistons, or a stock crank, vito pistons, and a nice port and polish? Which do you guys think would hold up longer, cost less and make the most power. I am probably going to use Vito everything, pistons, crank, etc... Any ideas guys? Kevin Quote
boonman Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Well, as for the questions you asked, longevity wise, this cannot be answered. Any machine will differ.... For cost, this is not a factor to be determined. However, a stroker crank will require porting. Which is an extra cost. BUT, you will make the most power with a stroker crank, and the proper porting. If it was my money,,, I would go with the stroker and porting. BUT, I would go to Jim from Passion Racing. You can PM him @ passionRE on this board.... Quote
